[Video] Homecoming Day 4

Red carpet characters and human bowling

“Lights, Camera, Homecoming,” Fresno Christian’s 38th annual homecoming week has officially begun! The energetic week culminates on October 27 with the FC Eagles facing the Orcutt Spartans. The week leading up to the big game and debut of the 2023 homecoming court will be filled with glamorous dress-up themes, competitive princess games, and a royal dance battle.

The red carpet was rolled out for “Characters on the Carpet” as students arrived for day four of homecoming week. Some dressed as celebrities while many impersonated their favorite movie characters. Many represented the far away galaxy of Star Wars. Princess Elsa, aka English teacher Melanie Portwood, made her Frozen debut tossing ice cubes down the hallway while singing her famous anthem.

During the lunch time activity, princess candidates slid into a competitive game of human bowling on a large hand made slip-n-slide. Crowds cheered on the candidates as Freshman Anna Pascual was the clear winner, knocking down the most pins.
