Today, cookie stores are popping up nationwide. But two are going head-to-head in competition. A small, family-owned business, Crave, and the national chain Crumble cookie.
Chloe Mcdonald and a few of her friends went on their own adventure to discover which one they think is better. They judged pricing, service, taste, appearance, and accessibility. Crave’s speed was top notch, getting their orders out as fast as possible. While Crumble’s ambiance set the mood for the whole store. Some may insist both establishments are just large sugary cookies with no difference. One thing that stood out was location. Crave did not look aesthetically pleasing and was in a rundown area surrounded by smoke shops. Opposed to Crumble that looked welcoming from the inside out and was located in a food court.
One similarity they have is pricing, they offer half a dozen of their cookies for around $25 and an average of $4 per cookie. But the overall rating given by Fresno Christian students for crave was 3.4 stars, and Crumble was given 4.6.
