As the school year comes to an end, the class of ’23 is celebrated during the 42nd annual graduation, May 25.
Fresno Christian sends off 56 seniors, 10 ‘lifers’ and 36 CSF members during the ceremony. The graduating class earned about $3.2 million in scholarships.
Throughout the ceremony, various awards and scholarships were given out, including God’s Girl’s recipient Aubrey Graham and the Faculty and Staff Scholarship awarded to Summer Foshee.
Aubrey Graham, 23′, shares what she felt when she received the God’s Girl’s scholarship.
“I was so shocked! I was so honored to be chosen for the God’s Girls Scholarship and I am so thankful to Michelle Blackburn and the whole God’s Girls program for their support and prayers.”
Guest speaker, Alumnus Michelle Warkentin challenged the graduates to “find the step” that they are going to take in the future.
Speeches from Valedictorian Antonio Ruelas, along with Salutatorians Summer Foshee and Silas Emerian, spoke to the uniqueness of the class.
The senior class of 2023 will be attending a variety of colleges which consist of Grand Canyon University, Fresno State University, Vanguard University, Paul Mitchel, Community College and more.
