Varsity girls, heads up!

First loss of the season challenges team spirit
Varsity+girls%2C+heads+up%21

In the ninth season game, the Yosemite Badgers defeat the Fresno Christian Varsity Volleyball, on Sept. 28. The Eagles and Badgers scored points back and forth set after set. The game was enticing for those watching,  with everyone on the edge of their seats. As each point was scored, their respective crowd rallied behind the players.

The game intensified through all five sets. Once the Badgers scored their second, it was down to the tie-breaking set. Eagles continued to battle it out with their opponent. They continued to stay strong til the end with multiple spikes and hits done by Sarah Guglielmana, ’26, quality serves from Krista Brady, ’25, and blocks by Jordan Degroot, ’26.

The intense game ended with the Badgers coming out on top. However, the Eagles still have a solid season looking forward. For upcoming games head to our Scores & Schedules page. Next home game is Senior Night, Oct. 12.
