“Lights, Camera, Homecoming,” Fresno Christian’s 38th annual homecoming week has officially begun! The energetic week culminates on October 27 with the FC Eagles facing the Orcutt Spartans. The week leading up to the big game and debut of the 2023 homecoming court will be filled with glamorous dress-up themes, competitive princess games, and a royal dance battle.
Day One of Homecoming showcases the creative costumes of students as either a BBQ Dad or Soccer Mom which is newest homecoming dress up theme to hit the hallways, Oct. 23. Many bar-b-que dad participants wear aprons, hold spatulas with some putting on fake beards. Soccer mom outfits consist mostly of exaggerated athleisure and stanley cups.
The highlight of the day is the anticipated Royal Battle featuring the Senior Court in an energetic lip sync battle. This years winners were Boomer Mericle and Sophia Adams. Second place was a tie between Gabriella Hutcheson/Kaleb Marquez, Mckenzie Sue/Donovan Guglielmana. For more images from The Royal Battle visit Royal Battle kicks off homecoming week.
