This year, only two seniors are on the basketball team, and five are on the cheer team. These seven seniors are honored alongside their family as we learn about their experience at Fresno Christian. Senior Basketball players, Angel DeLeon and Sam Rowland, both have been on the team for two years. DeLeon shares what he has learned from being part of the varsity basketball team.
“I’ve learned to grow as a man and as a player, and as a student.” DeLeon said.
The five senior cheerleaders include Mia Alberta, Gabriella Hutcheson, Maddie Gallegos, Paige Deffenbacher and Ava Flores.
Alberta shares how close she has gotten to her team over the past four years.
“I’m gonna miss everyone on the team because everyone is like a sister to me,” Alberta said.
