Fresno Christian Eagles defeat the visiting Riverdale Cowboys soccer team with a score of 9-0 in Friday’s league match. The FC girl’s Eagles now hold a 12-4 record this season. Another win in the books protects their number-one seed placement in the league. For the next game, they are heading away to play against Fowler on Monday, January 29.
An outstanding performance from forward, Grace LaCroix ’24 led the Eagles to a 7-0 in the first half. Goalkeeper, Zoe Blanchfield ’25 kept her record clear this game with a clean slate.
Senior captains Miracle Neal and Emma Connolly have played under head coach, Matt Markarian all four years of high school.
Parents, students, and FCS fans came out to support on Friday by filling up the stands. To show your support, come out to watch the lady Eagles at their next home game on Tuesday, January 30 against Minarets.
