Varsity girls soccer team celebrates their season at award banquet

Girls varsity soccer team celebrates the end of their season and honors their players during the award banquet, April. 2. 

As the girls varsity soccer season comes to a close, players and their families gather together to remember and celebrate the 23-24 season. Even though the Eagles fell short during playoffs, after losing to Templeton (in penalty kicks) during the first round of playoffs, the team ended the season with a record of 16-5-1 in league.

At the banquet, Head Coach, Matt Markarian, and assistant coaches, Morgan Markarian, Chloe Burrows, and Kyndel Carrington, hand out a variety of awards like MVP, Offensive, and many more.

Hailey Higton is launching her freshman year as a photojournalist for The Feather Online at Fresno Christian Schools. Known for her tenacity on the soccer field, and in life, Hailey dedicates herself wholeheartedly to cross country, high school worship team, and children’s ministry at The Well Community Church. Hailey’s creative ambition is on display through her graphic art, videography, reels, and social media posts that aim to glorify God, celebrate student success and build school spirit at FCS.
