Jenny King, left, and Hannah Nale are organizing a high school girl Bible study called T.E.A. talks, Jan. 8.
The bible study has its first meeting in room 602, Jan. 13. Throughout the course of the Bible study, girls will go to movies together, play games, meet at Jenny’s house to bond.
“T.E.A. (Teaching, Encouraging, Accepting) Talks is about making friendships that last while bringing up a community of high school girls that will learn more about the Bible, each other and Jesus. Hannah and I started this because we thought that by creating a bible group it would create an outlet for girls to grow closer together while ultimately growing closer to God. By sharing bible tips, advice and encouragement it helps girls to build each other up. Our faith isn’t about riding solo but about reaching out and linking arms with the neighbors around you for the common of sharing Jesus and growing closer to Him.” said King.
