Tyler Villines, ’18 is the first person to be asked to sadies by Olivia Palmer, ’17, Jan. 11.

With the help of a few friends, Palmer came up with a plan to ask Tyler to sadies during chapel announcements in front of the whole school.

“I was extremely surprised when Olivia asked me,” Villines said. “she did such a great job preparing for this, I had no idea and I’m really looking forward to it.”

Once talk of sadies started going around, Palmer immediately knew she wanted to ask Villines.

“I was nervous asking him in front of everybody,” Palmer said. “I’m really excited because I think its going to be fun to be with all of my friends for my last year of high school.”

This year, sadies will be held in town, and is going to include a bus ride to the Fresno Chafee Zoo, 2 Extreme, a teppanyaki dinner, and ice skating. Arrive at the school by 10:30 a.m. and the night will end at 10:15 p.m. Ticket sales will be from Jan. 9 – Jan. 27 and the cost is 60$.
