Dear editor,

While I only had Mr. (Lonnie) Godfrey for math classes, he is the best teacher I’ve had during my career in high school.

Although many students think he’s mean, you don’t get to know the real Mr. Godfrey until you’ve stayed in his classes for a year. I’ve learned so much about living a godly life from him.

Mr. Godfrey’s life has been a perfect example of God’s sovereignty and mercy. His devotions alone make him an amazing role model as well.

This school won’t be same without his presence. Thank you Mr. Godfrey.
