[/media-credit] Some students opt to take a more laid back approach to their studies.

The last week of school before Christmas break is here and students are frantically crunching for time with the stress of finals. Last minute studying and cramming fill the hallways as students prepare for the most important tests of the semester. Some students spend an immense amount of time studying to get the best grade possible. Other students take a more laid back approach and spend a lot less time studying.

The schedule for this years finals week is a little bit different. Monday is a regular schedule. Tuesday every class is five minuets shorter but we will be watching A Christmas Story. If you bring a brand new stuffed animal you get free Panda Express. Wednesday and Thursday are regular block schedules for finals. Friday is a half day.

Keegan Bloom, ’18, shares his more laid back approach about finals week.

“I like this years finals schedule, it isn’t to bad. I’m taking a more laid back approach this year for finals. I’m not really studying that much. I’m still trying to learn as much as possible so I can get a pretty good grade on the  tests.”

Spending most of his time studying, Joshua Olsen, ’17, explains why he spends so much time studying for finals.

“This years final schedule is alright I guess,” Olsen said. “It’s not really to much different. I’ve been studying  for around a week or two for finals. My parents get mad if I don’t get good grades, that’s why I’m studying so much this year.”
