Congratulations to the FC Varsity cheer team for taking home first place at the West Coast Nationals, Feb. 13.

The team traveled down to Los Angeles on Feb. 12. for their competition which was held at Azusa Pacific University and run by FCC. FCC is the fellowship of christian cheerleaders.

Cheer Coach Hope Villines expressed her excitement for her teams accomplishment.

“I am so proud of the girls and what they  have accomplished this year. This Varsity Cheer team transformed in to more than I could have imagined,” said Villines. “Not many people know they truly overcame and perservered through to finish this competition season so strong. I am unbelievably proud of them!”

This competition was the last competition the girls will compete in for the 2016 season.
