The end of this school year is creeping upon us; soon we will be asking anyone who is interested in photojournalism next year to fill out an application and submit a portfolio, April 5.

The team will most likely be capped at 10 people and everyone is welcome to apply. You do not need to have any prior photo experience in order to be accepted. Photos submitted are preferred to be taken with a camera, not a cell phone.

Something to take in consideration when applying for a spot on the team is the many opportunities that come with being apart of the Feather. After this experience you would have qualifications for many scholarships and also have been equipped with professional camera skills that may come in handy later on in life.
