Thanksgiving traditions

20161118-thanksgiving-893
[/media-credit] For many years Thanksgiving has celebrated family, bringing each other closer through tradition.

As Thanksgiving break approaches students are eagerly waiting for a time to rest from school and spend time with loved ones, Nov.18.

Many families celebrate years of tradition on Thanksgiving, sharing heritage throughout each generation.

Maicy Luginbill,’18, enjoys learning more about the generations before her.

” My Grandma is Norwegian, so our meal consists of different foods from Norway. My favorite food she makes for us are popovers, which is a type of bread.” Luginbill said. ” I love that we can learn more about our family through holiday traditions.”

This Thanksgiving take time to learn more about past traditions.
