FC girls soccer welcomes new coach Marguerite Belanger to lead the team during the 2016-17 season.

Belanger is a Senior at Fresno Pacific University and plays as a defender on the women’s soccer team.

The opportunity to coach, came to Belanger as the FC varsity girls soccer team was looking for someone to lead the team.

“I was contacted by one of the Ad’s at Fresno Christian and decided to take the coaching position, Belanger said. ” These girls have great skill and show the potential to play a great season.”

Goalie, Kayden Marquez, ’20, enjoys having new coaches she can look up to.

“Having new coaches is cool because it gives the players a better chance to learn different skills from someone who is more skilled,” Marquez said. “I look up to them because they play college ball and when i graduate I plan on playing professionally someday.”

Currently the team’s win/loss for non-league games are 2 wins and 1 loss.
