Varsity girls soccer won their first league game, 3-1 against Parlier, Jan. 25. So far, the lady eagles have played a total of 3 league games.

Many of the games have been rescheduled due to rain, but that does not stop the team from improving their skills.

Junior Jenna Bynum encourages team work throughout practices and games.

“We have had many indoor practices, going over plays and talking about what we can do to insure a solid win.” Bynum said. “It is important that through anything we do we work as a team and encourage each other.”

The next game will be against Riverdale high school at 5:00 p.m. on the FC field, Jan.25
