[/media-credit] Senior Brooklynn Ainley shows off all 84 of her competitive medals, Feb. 15.

Meet lifer Brooklynn Ainley! ‘Lifer’ is a term given to students who have attended Fresno Christian kindergarten through 12th grade. Eight students from the class of 2017 have been attributed this title.

Brooklynn Ainley, ’17, displays all her competitive gymnastics metals, Feb 15. When Ainley first started training she was three years old and started competing when she was nine.

Ainley first started at Break the Barriers and then moved to Clovis Academy to build her skills. Vault event is where Ainley felt she did her best which soon became her favorite event. Ainley loved to showcased her skills on the floor and won most of her 84 gymnastics metals in that event.

“The things I remember most from gymnastics are the meets but also staying in the hotels with my teammates,” Ainley said. “I liked eating breakfast together before the competitions too. We also always got food after each competition and we would wear our metals and you could hear them clinking together.”
