Valley PBS producer, Sarah Soghomonian gives Feather staffers an inside look on what’s it’s like to be a journalist, Feb. 22. Soghomonian shares her experiences in the world of journalism and portrays the usefulness of journalism and character traits employees may seek.
The Feather continues in its coverage of national Scholastic Journalism Week and ‘The Communities We Cover”.
Soghomonian covered everything from what peeked her interest in journalism to tips on writing. Soghomonian also shared her day to day routine to give feather staffers a better understanding as to what it takes to thrive in a journalistic world.
Some challenges into creating this video were making sure it didn’t feel stagnant. In order to overcome this kind of obstacle was to make sure and get a variety of angles so the viewers wouldn’t just be staring at the same perspective for two minutes.
