Knotted up

[/media-credit] Students learn how to tie different knots in home economics, March 16.

Daniel Walker, ’17, teaches Devin Pitts, ’18, how to tie a tie in Kimberly Bell‘s home economic class, March 16.

Each student in the class watched tutorials online on different knots. Shortly after they strolled around the room following instructions on how to tie certain knots. Some of the knots were the Pratt knot, Four-in-Hand, Full Windsor and Half Windsor.

“My favorite knot to learn was the Half Windsor,” Walker said. “It was pretty easy to learn and I thought it looked the best. One knot that I wish I had learned was the Eldridge knot.”
