Candy eggs

Candy+eggs
[/media-credit] Dr. Karen Walters’ explains the science behind chicken egg to seniors Brooklyn Ainley and Natalia Torres, April 19.

Dr. Karen Walters’ fifth period zoology class learn the science behind chicken eggs and how they are able to grow step by step, April 19.

The class is examining eggs in an incubator which will hatch in a few weeks.

To go with an Easter theme, they used plastic eggs and candy to make a model. Students used Peeps as the chicken and candy for the yolk and other parts of chicken eggs.

The project was a fun way for the class to interact and learn about chicken eggs.
