Dr. Karen Walters’ zoology and biology classes dissect fish during lab class as they study sea animals, April 26.
The purpose of the dissection was to help understand the function and parts of fish. The lab enlightened students on how the fish body works. Walters explained to her students different names of sea animals and their lifestyles.
Freshman Ethan Hamm describes his thoughts and opinions about the lab.
I did enjoy dissecting the fish,” Hamm said. “I learned the function of a fish and how they are similar and different from humans.”
Zoology also dissected fish to examine and find the brains of the fish.
