Photojournalists are needed for next year’s team. Three out of seven photographers will be leaving the group.
Each student interested in photojournalism must turn in a portfolio. The portfolio contains five to seven images to be viewed by the advisers. After the viewing, students will schedule a meeting with Kori Friesen, the photojournalist adviser.
Julia Fikse, ’19, one of this year’s photographers, enjoys photojournalism because she is offered rare opportunities.
“I have really loved being apart of the team this year,” Fikse said. “I’ve learned skills I wouldn’t have the opportunity to learn otherwise. Everyone on the team helps each other out and supports one another.”
Be sure to grab a photojournalism application from Friesen and return to her ASAP.
