Senior king and queen candidates perform their Royal Battle for the final performance, Oct. 5.
The two rival groups have been preparing dances to several songs weeks just like the royal court has done for the last decade or more. Queens have taken on the challenge of choreographing their routines by themselves, while kings sought the aid of alumna Bree Ainley, ’11.
After the many after-school practices, senior candidates will be perform during the normal chapel/assembly time. The much-anticipated dance begins at 9:35 a.m. Be sure to check in with The Feather for photo and video coverage of the performance.
Participation in this event is for high school students only. High schoolers get ready to cheer on and vote for your favorite dancing group in the comments below! The campus appeared to vote overwhelmingly for the guys after the battle. Were you one of those who voted for the girls?
