Leadership organizes the first on campus rally of the year, Oct. 24. Representatives from each class compete in musical chairs and ‘Hungry Hippos’, earning points for their class. Coming in first place for musical chairs is the senior class and in ‘Hungry Hippos’ the sophomores took the win.

The battle for the final spot to sit in musical chairs went to senior Macie Luginbill after a controversial battle. Junior Reece Brown and Luginbill had to reset and redo the musical chairs final after it was determined that Luginbill grabbed the chair before the music stopped.

The event includes girl’s volleyball and tennis recognition for the players. Each girl was introduced and a brief update on the sport was announced by the team captain.

At the end of the rally, leadership students hand out balloons to the girls involved in fall sports and candy bars to the classes who won the activities. The students are encouraged to attend this Friday’s football game verses California School for the Deaf, Oct. 27, 7 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m. with concessions open by 6:30 p.m. It’s also senior night!
