Pre-season game victory

Pre-season+game+victory
[/media-credit] FC beats Sierra High, 7-1, in their first pre-season game of the year, Nov. 27.

The FC lady eagles win their first pre-season game against the Sierra High Chieftains, 7-1, Nov. 27.

Under new coaching by Matt Markarian and David Bynum, girls soccer finishes their first game strong with a win. Bynum encourages the girls to come out aggressive and powerful at the start of each game.

Senior captain, Maicy Luginbill plays as a defender on the team.

“I’m proud of the way the team worked together for not having much experience playing with each other,” Luginbill said. “I’m really looking forward to what we accomplish this season. So far, we’ve started out stronger than we have in previous seasons.”

The girls began practice in October, beginning with basic training, reinforcing good techniques and improving footwork.

Come out and support the lady eagles at their second pre-season game at Summit Charter School at 3:15 p.m.
