Girls soccer hosts the second round playoff game for the Central Section CIF Les Schwab Girls Soccer Division VI Championships, Feb. 16. The Eagles defeated Mendota, 4-0.
Overall, the girls have a season record of 16 wins, four losses, and a league record of nine wins, three losses.
Annabelle Messer, ’20, scores the first goal of the game, followed by Beckah Micu, ’20, leading the game, 2-0, at half time. Micu scores her second goal of the night and Rylee Schwab, ’21, making the final score, 4-0.
In the previous season, the team had only qualified for the second round of playoffs, ranked eighth. Through practicing, the team improved and are now the first seed in Division VI.
The Eagles next play Rosamond, Feb. 23, at home field. Come out and support your lady Eagles for their valley championship game! Tickets are only five dollars. This is an event you do not want to miss!
