Baseball’s 2017 team is rewarded for their first ever Valley Championship win for the Central Section CIF Les Schwab Division VI Baseball Championships, Feb. 24.
Eagles were the seventh seed going into playoffs with an overall season record of 12-17, and a league record of 2-7.
The boys played their Division VI Valley Championship game against Sierra High School at the Rawhide Stadium in Visalia. Eagles victoriously defeated the Chieftains, 5-3.
To reward the team for their efforts and dedication, each player was given a individually customized ring that included the campus mascot and colors, their last name, and a quote engraved saying, “First baseball championship in school history.”
If you see any of the boys from last year’s team, make sure to congratulate them on their unforgettable season.
Eagles next game is away against the Tigers of Tranquillity, March 2, at Tranquillity High School starting at 3:30.
