FC softball play against Avenal High School at home for their first non-league game, Feb. 27. Due to it being a scrimmage, no score was recorded. 

This year, a total of 11 girls joined the team. Led by coach David Davila and assisted by Steve Villines.

The team plans to get lots of practice in before league begins. Practices are held after school Monday, Wednesday and Friday with preleague games or scrimages Tuesday and Thursday.

With four seniors graduated from last year’s team, upcoming freshmen and the rest of the team think they need to focus hard this season to earn their spot in playoffs.

Come support your Eagles at their next away game against Central Valley Christian, Feb. 29.
