Tennis playoffs

[/media-credit] Boys tennis defeat the Caruthers Blue Raiders, 7-2, in the second round of playoffs, May 10.

Boys tennis brings home a win as they defeat Caruthers, 7-2, in the second round of playoffs, May 10. Eagles next compete for the CIF Central Section Division 5 Championships, hosting Liberty Madera Ranchos.

Stay tuned for official date and starting time. Head out and support your boys tennis team as they play for Valley Championships!

Eagles win the match with only singles games, winning 5 out of 6 singles games. Braden Bell, ’20, defeats his opponent in a tie breaker, clenching a win in the second round of playoffs for FC.

Earlier in the week, boys tennis plays Golden Valley at home for their first round of playoffs, May 8. Eagles defeat the Bulldogs, 5-4, with the deciding match won in a tie-breaker by doubles team John Monke, ’19, and Owen Monke, ’21. The win sent them to their second round of playoffs.

Doubles partners Alex Rurik, ’19, and Jaden Ventura, ’18, along with Braden Bell, ’20, and Mark Pimentel, ’21, will be competing in individual Valley Championships, May 11. Head out and cheer on your doubles team as they compete for Individual Valley Championships!
