Spring sports athletes are honored for their season accomplishments during the spring sports awards, May 7. 

At the event, spring sports teams gather in the Peoples Church gym to honor, recognize and award teams and team members. Awards such as coaches award, most improved, MVP and rookie of the year are handed out amongst teams. 

The MVP award for each sport is given to these students:

Golf: Julian Segura

Tennis: Jaden Ventura

Baseball: Christian Castro

Softball: Jordyn Boyer

Track: Jacob Hyatt and Bethany Pouliot

Senior Athlete of the Year awards are also announced. Congratulations Cayla Rivas and Tyler Villines on receiving the Senior Athlete of the Year award! 

As the ceremony comes to a close, baseball coach Noah Heinz is recognized as FC Coach of the Year for winning the Valley Championships last year and leading the baseball team to a successful league season.
