Seniors (left to right) Macie Thompson, Bethany Pouliot and Amanda Grimmius turn in their senior yearbook quotes, Aug. 31.

The time has come for the class of 2019 to decide on their desired quote to be placed underneath their photo in the yearbook. Students choose quotes from a variety of sources. Some popular sources include the Bible, Disney movies and TV shows.

Grimmius selects a quote from one of her favorite TV show, ‘The Office’. She also shares some hopes she has for her senior year.

“I chose the quote “I am ready to face any challenge that might be foolish enough to face me”-Dwight Schrute,” Grimmius said. “This quote is from the TV show “The Office”, and I found it while looking around online for good quotes. I chose it because it’s a good blend of serious and humorous. This year, I am really excited to grow closer to my class, make a lot of awesome memories, and set the tone for the school as a class.”

Other students select inspirational, encouraging or humorous quotes, as well as scripture from the Bible.

Taking a different route, Thompson chooses a verse for her senior quote. Thompson also shares what she is looking forward to her last year of high school.

“I found my quote in Romans 12:12,” Thompson said. “I chose it because it is such an awesome reminder to always stay joyful and to have hope and trust in God and His plan for our lives. It also tells us to be faithful in prayer and I love that because prayer is such a key part in our relationship with God and making it an actual personal relationship. This senior year I am looking forward to all the sporting events, Senior Retreat, Senior trip and especially Graduating!”
