Fresno Christian homecoming week has officially begun. This year is Disney-themed, ‘Homecoming Happily Ever After’. Throughout the week leadership will be putting on princess pageants, the royal battle and multiple dress up days. Spirit points will be awarded each day for participation culminating in the big event on Friday night, Oct 5.

Get to know your court candidates personally. This year’s junior candidates are Danielle Foster, Lindsay Weimer and Toryn Triplitt. With a series of unique questions, The Feather introduces each candidate to help students narrow their vote. Voting will take place Thursday, Oct. 4. The winner will be announced during halftime at the 34th annual Fresno Christian homecoming game, Oct. 5. Gates open at 6 p.m. with concessions. Princess candidates introduced at 6:30 p.m. before the game.

Foster has attended Fresno Christian for three and a half years and hopes to become a student at Fresno State to pursue a career in engineering.

Weimer has been a student at Fresno Christian since the seventh grade and hopes to attend Fresno State to be a part of their nursing program.

I would be Tinker Bell because I am small and sassy.

If money was flowing… what car would you buy yourself?

A white Dodge Challenger

Who is your personal hero? Why?

My sister Jenna. She is my role model and I look up to her because she moved to Kansas where she didn’t know anyone and built a life there.

Triplitt has been attending Fresno Christian for seven years and wants to become a student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to participate in their agriculture program.

It would be an honor to get to represent the Junior class which I am so proud to get to be a part of.

If you were a Disney character who would you be and why?

Belle from Beauty and the Beast because she wanted to be different and loved to read.
