Happy Birthday Robert Hyatt!

Feather staffers celebrate tech director Hyatt on his birthday by a homemade written birthday card and ballons, Oct. 29.

He has been a part of the FCS community and The Feather as the main technology director since Sept. 2014. His job includes computer and other technology programing and fixing.

TA for Hyatt, Megan Raynes shares what she enjoys learning from him at school.

“My favorite thing I’ve learned from Hyatt would have to be, everyone matters and you can get past the anxieties of life,” Raynes said. “My favorite thing about him is that no matter what kind of day he is having he will go out of his way to make everyone around him laugh. He’s selfless and he’s incredibly funny.

Raynes also mentions her favorite part about TA for Hyatt and her best memory.

He loves to make himself laugh, and then continues to laugh for the next five minutes,” Raynes continues. “My favorite memory would probably have to be when he came into a cheer practice and he helped out my stunt group, despite never being in cheer. I would like to say Happy birthday to the most incredible person I have ever met. You have taught me so much in such a short amount of time and I am incredibly thankful. Thanks for taking me under your wing and always making me smile.”

Editor and cheif senior Alexander Rurik talks about what he loves most about Hyatt along with his favorite memory of him.

“What’s not to enjoy about Mr. Hyatt,” Rurik said. “He’s an amazing, down-to-earth guy who also happens to be a literal jack of all trades. He’s always looking to help and he’s super fun to be around. I’m thankful for who he is as a person with his quiet, but ever helpful personality. I have a lot of good memories, but my favorite has to be when he came with us to senior retreat.”
