Meet your 2018-19 Feather staff team!

The 2018-19 Feather staff includes journalists, photojournalists, and video journalists. A total of 37 members including 25 journalists, seven photojournalists, five video journalists, two photo editors, two video editors and three editor-in-chiefs make up The Feather staff.

Online since 2001, adviser Greg Stobbe welcomed advisers Kori Friesen and Robert Hyatt in 2013-14.

Fresno Christian, founded by seven churches, opened in 1977. Currently, there are 206 students throughout the high-school grade levels.

With 21 new members in The Feather this school year, students step up and learn the ropes quickly. While covering school and city news, features, sports, issues and opinions, The Feather also competes in the Columbia Scholastic Press Associations (CSPA) and the National Scholastic Press Association’s (NSPA).

In past years, The Feather has competed for multiple awards, winning six Pacemakers since 2006 and eight Gold Crowns since 2010. Most recently The Feather earned a CSPA Digital Gold Crown award in March for the 2017-18 school year in New York and the last NSPA Pacemaker during April of the 2015-16 school year in Los Angeles. In April 2018, The Feather earned a 2018 NSPA Digital Pacemaker finalist honor.
