Leadership Christmas party

Leadership students participate in the annual Christmas party at advisor Aubri Foster’s house in Cindy Lane neighborhood, Dec. 11. The night included desserts and games like ‘Toilet Paper Formal Dress’, ‘White Elephant’, and a Christmas scavenger hunt around the holiday-lit homes.

The night was put on by leadership advisors Aubri Foster and Robert Foshee as a way to break away from the stress of finals week. Students had the opportunity to get to hang out and play games with their class as a bonding exercise.

Senior Bethany Pouliot shares her experience at the Christmas party and what she enjoys about her leadership class.

“I loved getting to spend relational time with my leadership class,” Pouliot said. “There were a lot of laughs and this night is probably my favorite memory from this year. I did leadership because I thought that it would be a fun new experience and that I could get more involved my senior year. Having this leadership position has given me ample opportunities to exalt Christ’s name even more on campus as well as doing behind the scenes work for events.”

The next event for the leadership team is the stuffed animal drive on the last day of school, Dec. 14. Students are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal which will be donated to Valley Children’s Hospital in return for a Chick-fil-A lunch. Students will also be watching the movie ‘Elf’ to celebrate the last day of school before break.
