Welcome back to school FC students! You are half way done with the 2018-19 school year, keep pushing for one more semester.

As the second semester begins, the transition from fall into winter sports takes place. Winter sports such as boys and girls basketball, and boys and girls soccer league begins this week.

Sports schedule for this week include:

Boys soccer at home, WCPA HS, 4 p.m., Jan. 8.

Girls soccer at home, WCPA HS, 6 p.m., Jan. 8.

Varsity girls basketball away, Alpaugh, 5:45 p.m., Jan. 8.

Varsity boys basketball away, Alpaugh, 7 p.m., Jan. 8.

JV boys basketball away, Farmersville HS, 4 p.m., Jan. 9.

Varsity girls basketball away, Farmersville HS, 5:30 p.m., Jan. 9.

Boys soccer at home, Summit Charter Academy, 4 p.m., Jan. 10.

Girls soccer at home, Summit Charter Academy, 6 p.m., Jan. 10.

Varsity girls basketball at home, Summit Charter Academy, 5:45 p.m. Jan. 10.

Varsity boys basketball at home, Summit Charter Academy, 7 p.m., Jan. 10.

Head out and cheer on your FC winter sport participants in a game-filled week.

There are several events to look forward to this semester, such as Choir Heritage Festival, Valentine’s Concert, Choir Disneyland Trip, Feather LA Trip, Serve Day, NOTS, Ice Skating and Broom Hockey, Senior Trip, as well as many other unlisted activities.

As the school year is half way over, HS Graduation steadily approaches, May 23. Be sure to stay tuned to The Feather throughout the second semester to catch the annual series of Senior Spotlights.
