Fulfilling a long term substitute position for junior high science and Bible teacher Terry Richards, Nate Case joins the campus teaching staff, Jan. 7.
Terry Richards continues to recover from multiple surgeries and procedures following complications with an appendectomy prior to Thanksgiving break. The Fresno Christian community continues to support, pray and contribute meals for the Richards’ family.
Stepping into the role as a long term sub, Case looks forward to getting to know students and engaging with the curriculum that Richards had planned this school year.
“Before coming to Fresno Christian, I was a substitute for Clovis Unified for the fall semester of 2018-19,” Case said. “I started teaching because I love kids and science is my favorite subject, so getting to combine the two is an amazing opportunity.”
Living in Clovis his whole life, Case earned his degree in Kinesiology at Fresno Pacific University, eventually meeting Fresno Christian junior high math and Bible teacher Amy Friesen, who told him about the job opening.
