High school student leadership puts on the annual winter sports rally during lunch, honoring winter sports players, Jan. 25. Teams recognized include: boys soccer, girls soccer, girls basketball, JV boys basketball, and varsity boys basketball.

Unlike other rallies, the event takes place at lunch, due to the scheduling of sports games that will take place after school. This event simply honors the teams and allows coaches to introduce their players. Coaches close in a time of prayer for FCS sports.

Captains speak on behalf of their team about how far they have come this season. Each player is honored and receives a balloon from HS leadership with a special note encouraging them to play for Jesus.

Senior night for our winter athletes is just around the corner. Coaches and parents will honor the achievements of their students, Feb. 5. Be sure to come out and support your senior winter sports players in their last home league game.
