Girls basketball senior night

Girls+basketball+senior+night

FC girls basketball honors six seniors at the annual senior night, Feb. 5. Seniors include, Julia Fikse, Ashley Zamarripa, Angelica Escalera, Macie Thompson, Alina Davila and Hannah Estes.

FC defeats Wonderful College Prep Academy, 45-37, at their home game. Congrats to the FC girls basketball team for ending the season as co-champs in the East Sierra league.

How long have you been playing basketball?

I have been playing basketball for 3 years.

What is your favorite part about basketball?

My favorite part of basketball is seeing how the team with each individual member grows and gets better and finds their place in how to help the team become one. 

What is your favorite memory from the FC basketball team?

My favorite memory from FC basketball team is being on the side lines and hearing Tali Hill cheering on the team!

How long have you been playing basketball?

I have been playing basketball since the 5th grade but took a break during 7th grade cause I broke my arm. 

What is your favorite part about basketball?

My favorite part about basketball is all of the awesome memories we all made as we grew our friendships.

What is your favorite memory from the FC basketball team?

My favorite memory is from our sophomore year sleepover at the Davila’s house. The upperclassmen surprised all of the sophomores with not letting them go to sleep and we made a lot of fun moments that we will always remember.

How long have you been playing basketball?

I have been play since 5th grade but took a break for most of the season junior year.

What is your favorite part about basketball?

My favorite part about basketball is how close we get as a team. We always make sure we bind together with lunches, sleepovers or some sort of get together. 

What is your favorite memory from the FC basketball team?

My favorite memory of basketball was the sleepover when the other players made my class (as sophomores) stay up all night. They wouldn’t let us sleep but since we got mad (or some cried) and we ended up being able to sleep around 4:30 am.

How long have you been playing basketball?

I have been playing basketball since 3rd grade.

What is your favorite part about basketball?

My favorite part of basketball is bonding and playing with my team.

What is your favorite memory from the FC basketball team?

My favorite memory from basketball was going to coast union and staying in a house with my team and staying up late and bonding.

This is my first year playing basketball.

What is your favorite part about basketball?

Playing with a new team and trying something new.

What is your favorite memory from the FC basketball team?

In the first game of the season I accidentally made a 3 pointer and everyone was shocked and excited.
