As the class of 2019 looks forward to graduation, The Feather spotlights seniors in an effort to know them better. This series will focus on their time at Fresno Christian and their aspirations moving forward. This is the 2019 senior spotlight of Macie Thompson.

How many years have you attended FCS?

I have attended FC  for twelve years, coming in first grade.

Where/how many colleges have you applied to for next year?  Which is your top pick?

I have applied to one college, Clovis Community. My top pick is Fresno State.

What do you plan on majoring in?

I plan on majoring in business management and marketing.

Are you planning on going out of state or staying in CA?

I am planning on staying in California.

A favorite memory of high school?

My favorite memory was the Homecoming Royal Battle queen dance this year.

[/media-credit] Matthew Weimer was one of Thompson’s most influential teachers because of how he modeled what it means to live a life fully for Christ to her.

What activities have you been involved in over the past 4 years?

I have been involved in basketball, softball, Sister to Sister, worship leader and church and FC.

If you could give the lower classmen advice for surviving high school, what would it be?

Make high school fun. Don’t get too involved in drama. Be light for Christ!

Post graduation, what do you look forward to in your future? Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Post graduation, I look forward to eventually retiring. In ten years I see myself married with children. I want to be a Disney mom and sports mom.

A fun fact about Thompson is the she has broken her left arm three different times.
