The Moms in Christ group meets during second period to fellowship together and share advice, Feb. 7. Each week student mothers gather to pray for each other and the needs of the school.

FC moms meet weekly on Thursday mornings and begin with a devotional led by a different mom each time. Followed with a time of prayer one on one, giving time to gain advice and pray over everyone.

The group specifically was made to have someone to pray with you and give you support from people who are going through similar things.

Dawn Hinton’s goal is to grow and encourage fellow moms in their walk with Christ.

“Our mission is to pray for Fresno Christian staff, students, and families in our community,” Hinton said. “The blessing about gathering and doing this is how we get to connect with each other and support each other through life’s struggles and celebrations. We are blessed this year to have Dorina Gilmore-Young sharing ten-minute devotions each week before we pray.  They are based on her Bible Study she wrote called “Flourishing Together.”

There are no sign ups, all moms are welcome. If you would like to join be sure to meet in the Jackie Johnson room on Thursday mornings from 8-8:45.
