Insider photo contest

Marin Sue, ’20 (left), Helena Palsgaard,’22 (center) and Brooklynn Anderson, ’22 (right), submit their picture to the insider photo contest, Feb. 15. In an effort to engage with the student body, The Feather is encouraging students to take pictures of newsworthy events around the Fresno Christian campus.

Students can submit their pictures to Feather Advisor Kori Friesen until 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21. The winner will be chosen on Friday, Feb. 22 on The Feather’s Instagram page. In addition, they will receive a $10 Dutch Bros Coffee gift card.

Below are a few different ideas for photos:

Chemistry, Biology or Zoology participating in a lab.

Girls soccer in round three of playoffs.

Classes beginning new units.

Any presentations or projects happening in your classes.

In the world of journalism today, everyone is capable of broadcasting news. As of 2016, 62.9% of the world owned a mobile phone. By 2019, that number is expected to jump to around 67%. During National Scholastic Journalism Week, we encourage you to use your voice to capture the life and times at FCS.
