Editor spotlight 2019: Twitter editor

[/media-credit] Logan Lewis has been apart of The Feather team for two years and plans to continue into his senior year.

For each day of National Scholastic Journalism Week, The Feather looks to highlight our editors. Every day will focus on a different editorial role and their position on the team. Today’s featured editor is junior Logan Lewis, Twitter editor.

Lewis joined The Feather his sophomore year, making this his second year on the team. This year is his first year taking on the role of Twitter editor, covering all the school’s events along with community events.

“I joined The Feather because it seemed like the right thing to do,” Lewis said. “That’s where all the action was happening. I saw everyone getting cool opportunities and wanted in on the fun. As twitter editor, I cover anything that involves Fresno Christian, as well as notable things happening in the community. The hardest job of being the Twitter editor is the number of tweets I have to put out. It can be daunting, but I have found my stride.”

Along with being apart of The Feather, Lewis has many hidden talents as well. He loves to beatbox, whistle, and play piano, which not many people know about him.

He will be teaching a class titled ‘Tweet it up: Twitter as a Media Tool’ during The Feather’s trip to Anaheim in April. He will be teaching fellow students how to build a feed which viewers both consume and engage with. Get a glimpse into how we curate and connect compelling content for our website.
