Fresno Christian band presents their spring concert, ‘The Music of Disneyland’, April 29.

Directed by Leslie Bannister and David Casuga, FC eagle band, percussion, and elementary band showcased their repertoire of music. Some of the songs performed at the concert included, ‘A Day at Disneyland’, ‘Sax to the Max’ and ‘Feed the Birds’.

Junior Janae Shew enjoys the opportunity band gives her to play music with her friends.

“My favorite part about being in band is getting to play fun music with some really cool people,” Shew said. “I’ve been able to learn a lot about music and expressive playing from being in the class. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about joining band to do it! It is a very fun class.”

FC band’s next performance will be at the FC graduation at 7 p.m. in the Peoples Church main auditorium, May 23.
