The Feather team helps promote the 35th annual Kids Day to raise money for Valley Children’s Hospital, March 8. This year’s fundraising continued the previous year’s decision to go online due to COVID precautions.

Valley Children’s has been collaborating with ABC30 and The Fresno Bee since 1988 to pull off Kids Day. With each donation, a special edition of The Fresno Bee is available to view online, featuring patient stories and media about the hospital. Students met at 7 a.m. (later than the traditional 5:30 a.m.) with posters to help promote Kids Day. In total, Fresno Christian Schools raised $2,050 for Valley Children’s and took 1st place in the individual fundraising competition. Thank you to all that supported this year’s event.
