[/media-credit] Superintendent Jeremy Brown stresses the importance of following Christ in all situations.

Twelve people witness an event. All twelve report the same details of the event to their friends. Ten men, overwhelmingly decide on a logical and practical response, there are two dissenting opinions.

The crowd agrees with the decision of the ten. The two are overridden and the decision is made… 40 years later the Children of Israel are able to walk into the Promise Land.  Joshua and Caleb are the only people of their generation that see God’s promise fulfilled.

Have you ever believed God had something for you but you find yourself in circumstances that cause you to lose you faith?  It is a natural human response.  It is not a Godly response.

Fresno Christian Schools is at a point of decision.  A point where we can decide to embrace the fullness of what God has for us or to once again “help God” with our lives. As a community, I truly believe that our best days are ahead of us! Not perfect days, not easy days but our best days.  I believe this to be true of us as a community and as individuals, the question is will we choose it?

As Fresno Christian Schools, opens its 39th year, I pray that we see our future through the eyes of Joshua and Caleb. The eyes of the Joshua and Caleb who brought back a report of wanting all that God has promised.  I pray that we are people that choose to:

  • Seek Truth

  • Speak Life

  • Serve Others

May this be a year that we choose to walk in God’s will because his will is the Promise Land.
