Donuts are the center of meetings, family gatherings, and possibly a memorable night. Many donut shops have been around and offer nothing new other than the normal maple bar or glazed donut. Donut Fantasy has created a new platform for unique gourmet donuts and is now poised to succeed as franchise donut chain.

Upon arrival at Donut Fantasy, you are greeted with bright colors, appetizing scent, and a more than friendly staff. Then it is time to get in line and witness the hype of unordinary donuts. There are donuts with Hot Cheetos as the frosting or cinnamon toast crunch sprinkled around the donut.

I was skeptical about the consistency of all these unusual combinations. I opted to try the Kool Aid donut. The mixture of glazed donut and Kool Aid sprinkles tantalized the tongue with a duo of sweetness and tang that blended surprisingly well together.

While I was experiencing the creativity of the donut shop, I was accompanied by seniors, Rees Roggenstein and Andrew Moore.

Rees Roggenstein believed the odd combinations of toppings on the donuts were interesting and delicious.

“I was surprised with how the Hot Cheetos donut worked so well together.” Roggenstein said. “The spiciness of the Hot Cheetos and the sweetness of the glaze were a odd but delightful mixture. I also have to say that the staff was very friendly and patient with my decision on which wild donut I should sink my teeth into.”

Along with the unusual donuts, Donut Fantasy also sells the regular donuts you might find in any other donut shop. Andrew Moore took the typical route and chose a safe chocolate donut.

“I was not to keen on trying out the really weird donuts that they had, mostly because I didn’t trust the look of the donut, so I just had a regular chocolate donut.” Moore said. “Now I think I should have bought a crazy donut because I took a bite of Rees’s Cheeto donut and that donut was really good. Donut Fantasy is a place someone should definitely visit.”

Do not worry about these amazing yet weird donuts getting old or boring because there is a suggestion box in the store which the owner picks the best suggestions and make them become a reality. So come in grab a bite to eat and give suggestion on what donut you would like to see sold in the shop, because it could be the next donut superstar.
