Welcome to the third episode of “Nailin It With Nicole”! In this series of videos, I show you how to do nail designs that are both beautiful and somewhat simple.
Today we will be learning how to do cupcake nails! These nails are full of bright colors that add a unique touch to any look! They use straightforward freehand techniques that anyone can do to make an amazing manicure.
I used “Grape Gatsby,” by Complete Salon Manicure for the base of the design so the pastel colors whoever looks at the design is
not blinded by all the bright colors. “At Vase Value,” by China Glaze is the beautiful blue I used for the cupcake wrappers that adds to the crazy color combo. “Pink Voltage,” is a crazy neon pink I used for the frosting that really makes the design pop. “Cons-Ulta My Manicurist,” by China Glaze, “Kelly,” by Zoya, and “Be Bright Back,” by China Glaze were all used for details to give it a cartoon feel. “Life Of The Party,” by Essie is quite literally the cherry on top of the design. I added “Make a Spectacle,” by China Glaze because what can’t be improved with glitter? These nails are perfect for any time of year! It can go along with the brightness of summer or cheer you up in the gloominess of winter.
Anyone can do their nails! I taught myself how to do them with nothing but youtube tutorials and determination. You can do it!
