Welcome to the second episode of “Nailin’ It With Nicole”! In this series of videos, I show you how to do nail designs that are both beautiful and somewhat simple.
Today I will be showing you how to do a holly french manicure! These nails have a very simple design with traditional Christmas
colors. All you need to achieve this look is polish, scotch tape, and something to make dots with, whether it be a dotting tool or a toothpick. I included a Christmas tree accent nail, which requires more skill but is still very simple. To do the accent nail you will need brushes to go with your other supplies.
“Let’s Snow,” by Complete Salon Manicure is an opaque white polish that makes a French tip easier because you only need one to two coats. “My Claim To Flame,” by Nicole by OPI is a blazing red polish that can make any design pop, but still keeps the subtle, beautiful look of these nails. “Posh,” by Revlon is a polish I’ve loved ever since I started doing nails. It is a deep green that’s gorgeous to look at and is perfect for the design. It’s almost exactly the color of a Christmas tree! “I Drive A Supernova,” by OPI is a beautiful silver and a perfect background for our Christmas tree accent nail. It maintains our simple and traditional color scheme.
Anyone can do their nails! I taught myself how to do them with nothing but YouTube tutorials and determination. You can do it!
